Offers

In our workshops we guide you professionally in building your own guitar or bass. You can build models of moerel guitars, realise your own designs (if feasible) or make instruments in the style of the popular classics.

We prefer to work with wood from this region and Switzerland. Woods that we do not have in stock can be ordered on request. Tropical woods, if desired are only offered with a sustainability certificate.

We attach great importance to the fact that every step is done by hand.

Prices

The course fee of CHF 2'900.- includes the following:

• Course guidance and coaching

• Use of the workshop and all necessary machines and tools

• Raw materials

• Hardware and materials for 1 basic model without extras

Conditions

The course will be held for a minimum of three participants. Course size limited to five participants

The registration is valid upon receipt of a down payment of CHF 1'500.- and a signed contract.

If the workshop does not take place, the down payment will be refunded within five days.

• Left- / right-handed version

• Screwed or glued necks

• Dots made of mother-of-pearl, Abalone or ABS plastic

• Bone or phenol saddle

• Wooden electrical compartment covers

• Chrome-plated or black tuners / machine heads in the price range of Kluson

• Finish in oil or colourless nitro lacquered

• Strap pins, Schaller S-Lock pins

Basic model guitars

• Selfwound pickups: 3x single coil or 2x Humbucker

• Electrics with volume, switch 3-way or 5-way, tone

• Bridge standard, tailpiece or through body

Basic model basses

• Body: Ash, Maple, Walnut, Alder

• Neck: Grade A Maple, Walnut, Mahogany

• Fingerboard: Walnut, Rosewood, Oak, Ebony Brown

• Selfwound pickups: 2x single coil or 1x humbucker

• Electrics with volume, switch 3-way or balance poti, tone
