Born in Mörel in January 1965, I learned the trade of a carpenter after finishing high school. The joy of wood then led me to the woodworking school in Biel. After graduating as a carpentry technician, I started building furniture and opened an interior design business. For several years I have also worked as an insurance specialist and management consultant in banking and insurance. In order to accompany people in my workshops for guitar, bass and furniture making in the best possible way, I completed a coaching training.

Art and culture have always played a role in my life. Since my youth, I have been a guitarist and singer in various bands. As a long-standing member of Bühne Mörel, I have been performing for almost 40 years. Furthermore, I am involved in our cultural life on the board of the Dorfkultur Mörel.

For me, building guitars and basses combines my love of the craft with my passion for music.

I was born in Brig in 1970. I discovered my love of music as a teenager. As a clarinettist, I played in several brass bands and trained as a conductor at the Sion Conservatory. Together with some colleagues, we founded the street jazz band Schmutzgüggla, where I played the tuba to provide the low notes and thus found my passion for the electric bass.

After graduating from high school and studying civil engineering, the first years of professional experience as a carpenter and joiner followed. After more than ten years of working with wood, I am now a self-employed civil engineer.

I find my mental and physical balance to the daily routine in the office and on the construction site in music as a bass player in several bands and in the guitar building workshop.

There is certainly more to tell about me at this point, but I'm sure it would be more exciting to talk to you during your course!
